Meeting called to order by Dave Lopez, due to a technicality in the IPSSA Standing Rules, at 7:08 PM at the Canoga Park Bowl.

Saul Krochmal, President: New Business: (1) We will reimburse for the Western Pool and Spa Show attendance, bring your badge to Mike Sidoti and he will take care of it. (2) The Installation, Dinner Dance is this weekend and all members are welcome. Old Business: (1) By the Standing Rules you must have brought your “Sick Cards” for Farshid to see. Any members who did not do this will find a fine on your IPSSA Mgmt. billing. Having your cards filled out is for your own good, for if you go out sick and do not have them up to date and completed you will not be covered.

JEFF STEINBACH, Social Activities: (1) The June 14 fishing trip is full. I am trying to set another one up a few months later. The Chapter will only pay for one fishing trip per member per year, so if you go on both you will have to pay full price for the second one.

BILL JACKSON, Secretary: Minutes accepted with the following corrections: Brad Mills’ Phone # is wrong, should be 818-718-7006; and the BORD Rep is now Elias Duran.

ALFREDO Hernandez, Attendance: Please see me if you are interested in joining the Chapter. We have a new prospective member, Cameron Inks to be voted in (he is questioned by the members and found to be OK.) He is led out and voted in by a show of hands. He works for Pool Patrol in the office with only a few accounts of his own.

FARSHID ENTEGHAMI, Sick Pool Chairman: There are still a few of you who have not shown me your filled out “sick cards.” The Office has issued fines to all who have not shown them. If you show them to me I will call the office and have the fine removed.

Rick Palcovic, Education Chair: To get a idea of what topics will be covered Rick asks for a show of hands as to the number of years experience the membership has. He thinks it would be a good idea to print bios of members in the newsletter to let new member know who the can consult with if they have problems with their business. He explains his goals as Education Chair.

Dave Lopez, Web Master: Let me know if you want to see anything on the web site.

Jason Klein won the $50 Chapter check but was not present, so the amount will roll over and be $100 next month.
